The James West Centre is a multi-purpose community venue located within the new Welbury Farm development in north Hailsham. |
Owned and managed by Hailsham Town Council, the Centre consists of an 18m x 11.7m hall, able to accommodate an audience of around 200 seated, in addition to two meeting rooms. |
The Centre also includes a modern kitchen, store rooms, toilets, changing rooms and a P.A. system. |
The facility can be hired for community events, sports, corporate meetings, play groups, exercise classes and other social events, as well as private function hire. |

More individuals and organisations continue to hire the Centre, which has benefitted from numerous recent upgrades - including
the addition of acoustic wall panels and projector screens in both meeting rooms, additional seating in the lobby, lighting in the car park and
netball and the creation of pickleball courts in the main hall.

Not only has the new Centre already helped to expand opportunities for community and sporting activities in Hailsham and the surrounding area, but it has also met the growing need for private hire space now and into the future. |
